Project - Diageo, Cameronbridge Distillery, Windygates, Fife

Drinks giant, Diageo has been a client of Marshall Construction for over 15 years for all types of general builder work within their properties in the central belt of Scotland.

One of the projects carried out for Diageo was the very difficult task of adding three storeys onto the Low Temperature Processing (LTP) building within the heart of the Cameronbridge Distillery.

This involved the removal of the pitched roof and stairwell on an existing four storey building and the construction of an additional three storeys on top of this with concrete floors, steelwork and cladding. A new metal staircase was also formed with a gyproc shaft wall system.

The surrounding area created difficult access problems and the bottom four storeys remained operational during the entire contract period.
