A New bonded warehouse was constructed at Addiewell, West Lothian for North British Distillers.
Work began in June 2006 and was completed in May 2007. The 230m long warehouse has
a 35m span. It consists of three cells which are partitioned by two fire walls using guardian wall panels.
The building is fully serviced by a 300mm diameter sprinkler main, emergency lighting and an extensive security system.
Around 90,000 cubic metres of earth had to be moved before work could begin.
