Project - Kilncraigs Mill – Refurbishment& Fit Out Works

We were awarded two contracts by Clackmannanshire Council for the refurbishment and fit out of parts of the 1920 & 30`s former textile mill. The first contract was a £1.5m refurbishment project of the external façade. The works included re-roofing with recycled Scottish slate, replacing the metal windows and applying Sto render to the external walls.
The contract was completed in April 2007. In December we started work on a £0.75m fit out contract to the third and fourth floors of the original mill to create office accommodation for Clackmannanshire Council and other tenants.
The work scope was extended to include improvement, alteration and refurbishment work to the ground, first and second floors of the occupied office complex and additional works to the third and fourth floors, making a final contract value of approximately £1.1m.
