Marshall Construction’s Biggest Win to Date…….

October 29, 2015

chivasMarshall Construction wins its biggest contract ever to build 14 no (4 triple & 1 double) Warehouses for Chivas Brothers Limited.

The project is valued at £17.8 million and will be expedited by a 120 week construction programme to suit the clients delivery programme.

Marshall Construction have worked at Willowyard, Beith for over 10 years and know the site very well, which is situated between Kilbirnie Loch and the town of Beith.

Stephen Walker, Contracts Manager commented: “Marshall Construction demonstrated an impressive approach to the project, as we had a clear ability to address the challenges of the current site, resulting in the best cost and programme outcomes. We are excited about continuing our relationship with Chivas Brothers and Charles Scott and Partners”

Robert Marshall, Managing Director added, “We are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work at Willowyards again. When we started talking to Charles Scott & Partners following our tender submission it was clear that they shared the same belief that partnership working is the way forward, selecting the best skills for the job – This is what differentiates us in the marketplace. Marshall Construction continues to deliver first class projects even when up against stiff competition and we are delighted that this is our largest contract win to date. We had a great start to our year with all Operating Divisions having strong contract wins, but without doubt, this latest win is the icing on the cake. It is almost twice the size of any other contract we have been awarded in our thirty two year history and marks a step change in terms of project work in our company portfolio”.
