2011 saw the design and construction of a new Grandstand for the Edinburgh Tattoo. This structure is designed to be erected and taken down each year at the esplanade at Edinburgh Castle. The project in Livingston was to provide a secure covered storage area for the structure which was achieved by altering and extending a unit purchased by the Tattoo specifically for this purpose. The building was constructed to allow the components to be stored in a sequenced manner and to facilitate the re erection operation.
