Marshall Construction were Principal Contractor for the construction of this new build steel framed and clad 3690m2 factory and accommodation extension to an existing factory, and new car park including infrastructure. Electric vehicle charging points were included.
Major subcontracts included structural steel, cladding, concrete floors, M&E, and sprinkler installation.
Marshall Construction were responsible for managing the construction process. The work scope was defined by the client at tender stage within the Employers requirements and contract documents. Marshall Constructions role was that of Principal Contractor with all the responsibility that comes with that appointment, and we discharged all our obligations and duties under the CDM Regulations.
