New Appointment at Marshall Construction…..

DougieRobert Marshall, Managing Director, Marshall Construction announced the appointment of Douglas Smith to the position of Chief Estimator within the General Building Division. His vast amount of knowledge in estimating and project management, along with a relentless dedication to his team has helped him earn this new position. He will be leading and coaching a team of Quantity Surveyors & Estimators.

Derek Clarke, General Building Commercial Director commented: “Douglas is a workhorse and another of our most dedicated employees. He brings a strong work ethic and a broad knowledge of all that is involved in the construction process to the team. He is always open to learning and striving to be better. Douglas is an invaluable member of the General Building team and will contribute to the continued success of the department and the company” 

Douglas Smith’s broad knowledge of varied Surveying disciplines in the construction industry enabled him to join Marshall Construction in 2002 as a Quantity Surveyor.

Douglas Smith added: “my success at Marshall Construction is due in part to my continuous drive to keep improving. I am passionate about delivering for our clients and company alike and particularly enjoy overseeing projects whereby client expectations are met and exceeded. It’s a new challenge and I love challenges”
